This little section is where you'll find almost everything you ever needed and wanted to know about the forum and what exactly wFL is. If it sounds like something you'd enjoy then by all means please head over to the forum and join. I'll even give you a big link right now to the forum. ^^ wFL forum Okay with that out of the way onto the explanations. After I'll have a tiny F.A.Q. section for questions that I think would come up more often. And if you have questions please feel free to e-mail me!

wFL (pronounced "waffle", yes just like the food) is the acronym used by fans to explain and talk about three boys bands(groups) from Japan.
Together, w-inds.(hence the lower case 'w'), FLAME, and Lead, make up the whole of wFL.
They are all boy bands created by the companies Flight Master, Pony Canyon and Vision Factory(or FM, CP, and VF), much like the Backstreet Boys or N'Sync. However they are much better and have more talent then either of those American bands.
Below is a brief overview of each band one could say. Click on the name and it will lead(*giggles*) you to a bit more info about them.

There you'll find a number of links to awesome places with tons of info on the boys. :: w-inds. :: The first group created by FM and PC. It consists of three boys, Chiba Ryohei, Tachibana Keita, and Ogata Ryuichi.They've been together since late 2000 and have released 12 singles(13th pending in September) and 3 albums. :: FLAME :: ??? Laalalal. 8D; :: Lead :: Originally the junior of w-inds. Lead became so successful that they earned themselves a spot with the other two groups. Lead consists of 4 members, Hiroki Nakadoi, Shinya Taniuchi, Keita Furuya, and Akira Kagimoto. They've been together since early 2002 and have released 6 singles and 1 ablum(with a second pending release in September).

The wFL forum is the first forum in english that is dedicated almost completely to the three J-pop groups known as wFL.
It's not all just about the three bands though, there are sections for about everything. You interested in anime? Fanfiction(mostly fiction about wFL)? Music in general? There are also threads for those. Basically, the three groups are a small portion of the forum BUT it's the most important part. ^^
History; The forum was first started on May 4th, 2003 by Kyoko and a few other members from another forum called CLICKWINDS. The original forum got deleted accidently but was restarted on June 25th, 2003 (and is the offical anniversary date). The forum continued to expand and gain more members and for over a year everything went well. On June 2nd, 2004 due to some circumstances Kyoko resigned at leader of the forum and handed leadership over to Thea(teyamon). There are now three moderators to help Thea, Era, Taka and Airi. The forum at this very moment boasts 576 members and is growing everyday. Thoughts;

1) What is a fanlisting?
Defined by TheFanlistings.Org, it is a web clique that lists fans of a particular subject. Unlike most web cliques, a person does not need a web site in order to join. Fans from around the world submit their information to their approved fanlisting and they are then listed to show their love for the subject.
